Story

Blu Greenberg writes from inside the halakhic world, not from the sidewalk outside it. On Women and Judaism (1981) asked Orthodoxy to take women’s learning, ritual, and public voice seriously.

She helped convene gatherings that became a movement. The tone is firm and familial: change, she insists, can look like loyalty.
